The Challenge
A recent extension and refurbishment project to St Barnabas Hospice, in Grantham, Lincolnshire was completed with the installation of the Deepflow150 rainwater system from Aliaxis UK.
The Solution
The existing building was extended to include a new entrance and reception, an arts room, lounge and dining area, toilet facilities and an external patio area. The Deepflow150 rainwater system was fitted to the whole building by Gothorpe Guttering, a local contractor and a regular user of Marley products. Builders merchant, Drain Center in Lincoln were able to supply the complete product range for the installation.
The Hospice in Grantham has been providing medical and nursing care for over 30 years for patients living with a life threatening illness. Last year they supported and cared for 2,000 patients and their families across the county. St Barnabas currently employs 200 staff and has 1000 volunteers who help to provide support to patients and their families at all sites throughout the county.
