As it progresses through Round Three of this famous national competition, the Golf Classic continues to offer the opportunity for those working in the UK construction industry to challenge their golfing skills, make friends and forge business contacts, which is why players return and new entrants participate each year. This year, amongst many other trades and professions, plumbing and heating engineers, builders, architects, surveyors and electrical contractors, were represented.
We wish all the golfers good weather, great golf and the best of luck in the coming rounds as they progress towards The Grand Final which this year takes place at Slaley Hall, a magnificent Edwardian mansion and golf resort in Northumberland. The resort’s Hunting Course is a European Tour venue and is known as the ‘Augusta of the North’. Set within 1,000 acres of glorious countryside, it will offer our finalists the perfect setting in which to test their golfing prowess!
The tournament winners take home the coveted Golf Classic trophy, along with Pro Shop vouchers. There are also prizes for the Runner-up, Nearest the Pin and the Longest Drive. All finalists enjoy complimentary gala dinner, prize giving and luxury stay.
